SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a large attendance of dancers at the Kaituna Hall on Saturday night when the dance committee held a most successful dance. Excellent music was supplied by Messrs J. West and M. Hunt. Much appreciated extras were played by Mr Hunt (piano), and Mr Ashworth (saxophone) accompanied by Mr West. Mr M. McMullan was loudly applauded for his exhibition of tap-dancing. The Monte Carlo waltzes were won by Miss E. Rollo partnered by Mr A. Hunt, and Mrs H. Dagg partnered by Mr J. Inness. The committee intends to hold another dance on Saturday, July 23, and all dancers are advised to keep this night free.
