McCrea, Wairoa, is visiting 1 Masterton. Mrs K. Lynch, Masterton, is a visitor to Auckland. Miss Admore, Gladstone, is spending the week-end in Wellington. Mrs R. Thompson, Wellington, is staying with Mrs E. Groves, Bush Grove. Mrs Davis, Kaiapoi, is staying with her sister, Mrs F. Reynolds, The Terrace, Lansdowne. Miss Edna Coleman will leave Masterton at the week-end to take up a position at the Ormondville School. Miss Katharine Cunningham, Lansdowne, is visiting Akaroa, after which she will spend a short holiday in Christchurch. Mrs Ross, who has been visiting Mrs C. T. R. Richardson, The Terrace, Lansdowne, is now staying with Mrs Holdsworth, Whakataki. Mr and Mrs Walter Fell, who have been spending a few days with Mrs Carey, Second Street, Lansdowne, have returned to Palmerston North. Mr and Mrs A. Rainbow and Miss Mary Rainbow, Hastings, are at the Midland Hotel, Masterton, for the Glendining—Baird wedding this afternoofi. Mr and Mrs J. Perry, of Alfredton, who have been on a visit to Wellington, are spending a few days with Mr and Mrs W. G. Lamb, Masterton, prior to returning home. The Masterton friends of Miss Isibel Cooper, of Gladstone, met at the residence of Mrs T. B. Braggins, of Bannister Street, on Wednesday afternoon, and, in view of her approaching wedding, presented her with many beautiful and useful gifts, wishing her many happy days of wedded life.
