STEEL PRICES REDUCED

SURPRISE MOVE IN U.S.A. NEW YORK, June 25. A surprise move is the announcement by subsidaries of the United States Steel Corporation of price cuts on a wide range of products varying from 2J to 81 dollars a ton. or six to seventeen per cent.

The move is an effort to unlock prices on industrial products, including automobiles, and pave the way to a broad business revival throughout the country.
