TRAGIC DEATH
LATE MR D. J. DONALD (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Tragic circumstances surrounded the death of Mr David James Donald, late of Te Ore Ore, a student lecturer at Victoria University College. Lying with the head against a gas ring, his body was found in one of the laboratories of Victoria College at about 6.55 yesterday morning. Mr Donald was employed in the philosophy department of the college. There was an overcoat over the gas ring and the head. When Mr Donald was found he appeared to have been dead for some time.
