HEALTH CAMP CONCERT

The Health ' Camp Concert Party gave a concert at Carterton on Thursday last, and the Otaki Health Camp fund will be considerably augmented thereby. The concert was arranged by Mr A. E. Miller and most of the performers were Masterton entertainers, with the addition of the talented liamua Glee Party. Melodies, haltas, and pbi dances were featured by the Maori party, gnd Miss Peggy Broughton delighted the audience with popular songs. Misses Noeline Graham and Valmai Price appeared in solo dances. Both were heartily applauded, Mr W. McMichael and Mrs Evelyn Diliver, rendered several songs. Perhaps the most popular item oh the programme was the performance of “Teddy,” Mr Sid Gerrand’s trick dog. Miss Hazel Lock’s tiny tots danced with precision and grace. Mr Harry Hall was in excellent form With his songs and patter. 'Miss Nona Mulvey was accompaniste, and two Carterton performers, Messrs Chapman and Kay, assisted with their guitars. The company will give a concert in the Opera House on Thursday next. A number of new artists will be included in the programme.
