STATE THEATRE.

NESW BOSBY BREEN PICTURE. ■ H. Qualifying as one of the most thoroughly entertaining motion pictures of the season, “Hawaii Calls,” Bobby Breeh’s latest musical starring vehicle, will be shown again tonight at the State Theatre. This diversified screen-play has all the elements of a successful film, and combines them in a manner that will prove a delight to the theatregoer. Bobby Breen has never before been so happily cast. He appears as a former San Francisco bootblack who joins, his.; , little Hawaiian newsboy friends ; in ' a' trip to Honolulu, as - a stowaway. The young star is completely natural and boy-like, and gives by far the finest performance of his career. An especially enjoyable feature of the picture is Bobby’s singing of half a dbzeti songs and the youngster fully justifies his reputation as the possessor of the screen’s sweetest juvenile voice. Comedian Ned Sparks, in the most important supporting role, is delightful as the ship’s musician who befriends the boys, and Irvin S. Cobb makes a little gem of his role as a gruff, kindly sea captain.
