■» LADIES’ PENNANT MATCH. WIN FOR MASTERTON. A B grade pennant match played at Heretaunga yesterday between the Masterton and Wellington ladies’ teams was won by Masterton by four games to three. The results were as follows (Masterton players being mentioned first in each instance): —Miss Murray lost to Mrs Treadwell, 7 and 5; Miss Perry lost to Mrs Whyte, 2 and 1; Mrs* Plummer lost to Mrs Seddon, 2 down; Miss Jury beat Miss N. Blundell, 2 and 1; Mrs Fagan beat Mrs Howden, 5 and 4; Miss Jordan beat Mrs Riddler, 6 and 5; Mrs R. Burridge beat Mrs Tweed, 3 and 2.
