WEDDING
PEARCE—BUNNY. The marriage took place at St. Mathew’s Church yesterday afternoon of Miss Betty Bunny, ■ second daughter of Mrs Bert Bunny, Cole Street, Masterton, and the late Mr Bunny, and Mr Hugh Campbell Pearce, elder son of Mr and Mrs A. Campbell Pearce, of Featherston. The Rev, E. J. Rich, assisted by the Rev J. T. Holland, Featherston, conducted the service. The bride, who was given away by her grandfather, Mr D. J. Cameron,wore a becoming frock of silver brocaded lame, with a veil of Brussels lace and a sprig of silver roses on her head. She carried a sheaf of white lilies. The bridesmaids were Misses Vivian Bunny, Kirsty Cameron, Robina Thompson and Margaret Pearce. They were all dressed alike in frocks of pearl pink satin; on the V-neck line was a little band of soft pink lace filling and the skirts were very full. All carried sheaves of cyclamen and roses. The best man was Mr James Knight, of Akatarawa and the groomsmen were Messrs Hugh Arthur (Wellington),’ Dick Pearce (Featherston) and Nat. Hobson (Wellington). A reception was held at the Municipal Hall, where the guests were received by Mrs B. R. Bunny and by Mr and Mrs Pearce. Mr and Mrs Hugh Pearce will reside at “Maramu,” Featherston.
