WAIRARAPA COLLEGE
PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION. At the monthly meeting of the Wairarapa College Parents’ Association various matters in connection with the furnishing, etc., of the College were discussed, and a plan of campaign outlined for the future. It was decided to hold a ball on June 29, and the Association went into the question of making arrangements for the function. It was reported that already considerable interest was being taken in the ball by the residents of Masterton. It was decided that the ball take place in the new assembly hall at the College. A popular feature will be the presentation of debutantes to Mrs Hancox, Mrs T. Jordan, and Mrs F. Daniell. Debutantes should send in their names and. addresses to Mrs Hancox at College House or Mr A. J. Towns, Essex Street, and from whom information concerning the ball can be obtained. Various reports .in connection with the activities of the Association during the past month were submitted. It was stated that the recent card tournament had been very successful. It was stated that elaborate preparations were being made for the function on June 29 in order that it should rank as one of the social successes of the season. .
