QUEEN CARNIVAL CONCERT. (“Times-Age” Special.) A concert in aid of the Queen Carnival was given in the Kahutara Hall on Saturday night. There was a very good attendance, and all the items were well received. FEATHERSTON GOLF CLUB. The Featherston Golf Club played a Stableford competition on Saturday afternoon. The results are as follow: — H. Bloxam, 22—11—33, 2J points; I. Donald, 16—17—33, 2| points; T. Lang, 21—11—32, J point; H. Prendergrast, 16—16—32, } point. The second match for the shield will be played next Saturday. The match with the Pirinoa Club had to be potsponea owing to the unfavourable weather. It will be played later in the season. PERSONAL. Miss Minnie S. Ureite is on a visit to Mrs J. A. Juno, Pahautea. Mrs Hall, Alfredton, is visiting Mrs L. McKenna, Pahautea. Mr N. C. C. Shepherd, who has been confined to his home with a severe attack of influenza, is about again.
