SEARCH FOR OIL
PLANT FOR NEW ZEALAND SHIPPED DRILLERS FROM PERSIAN GULF. GEOLOGICAL TEAM COMING FROM NEW YORK. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Minister for Mines, the Hon P. C. Webb, has received cable advice from the Chairman of Directors of the New Zealand Petroleum Company, Ltd., Sir Colin Fraser, who is at present in New York, that all the drilling plant for the East Coast of New Zealand petroleum prospecting has been shipped, that drillers are sailing from the Persian Gulf for New Zealand, and that an early start will be made on drilling. It is also stated that a geological team sailed from New York on Wednesday, to survey the Taranaki Province.
