TRAIN BLOWN UP

ACTIVITIES OF THE MEXICAN REBELS GENERAL CEDILLO LEADING 14,000 MEN SERIOUSNESS OF SITUATION HIDDEN? NEW YORK, May 25. Mexican rebels in the province of San Luis Potosi dynamited a train 55 miles east of the city of San Luis, killing the fireman. The “New York Times’s” Mexico City correspondent says that it is reported that General Cedillo, leader of the rebels, is leading 14,000 armed Indian peasants to cut off detachments of Federal troops. While the Government is maintaining an official attitude of silence regarding military activities, the Press of Mexico City is carrying on a carefully developed propaganda to hide the growing seriouness of the San Luis situation.
