EKETAHUNA
FARMERS’ UNION MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the annual meeting of the Eketahuna branch of the Farmers’ Union, Mr B. Morriss, who presided, referred in his report to the progress the branch had made during the year. The farmers of the district had been fortunate in escaping any major setbacks; other districts, however had not had such an experience. He stated that he would be unable to accept nomination for the office of president. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President Mr E. B. Terry; vice-presidents, Messrs J. P. Petersen and A. Campbell; delegates to the Wairarapa executive,. Messrs Terry, Petersen and Campbell; delegates to Provincial conference, Messrs Terry, T. Richardson and A. Hughan.
