FEATHERSTON
QUERRY CLUB MEETING. (“Times-Age” Special.) The attendance at the weekly meeting of the Query Club held on Thursday night was about one hundred. A very enjoyable time was spent with games and competitions. A committee was formed as follows: —The Revs. H. E. Harkness, J. T. HoJland, R. F. Keenan, Mrs Holland and Mrs Keenan; Messrs R. Sadler (secretary), R. Skipage (treasurer). Other committees were appointed as follows: Programme, Messrs E. H. Pearce (chairman), F. Staples, Miss Tocker; refreshments, Mesdames Brandon (chair), Skipage, and Miss J. Matthews; hall, Messrs W. Talbot (chairman), J. Saba, I. Smith. Mr. A. S. Kilsby, one of the discussion group leaders, was unanimously elected an ex-officio member of the committee; central committee, the Revs. Harkness, Holland and Keenan, Mesdames Holland and Keenan, R. Sadler (secretary), Messrs Skipage (treasurer), and Kilsby, and the chairmen of the three sub-committees. PERSONAL. Miss Yeoman, Pongaroa, is the guest of her sister, Mrs F. Staples, Hayward Street, for a few days. The many friends of Mrs C. J. Nix, will regret that she is seriously ill.
