— -♦ PERSONAL. (“Times-Age” Special.) . Mr H. R. Linton, of the Grey town railway staff, has received notice that he is to be transferred to Wellington. Mr J. Feam has returned from a trip to Australia. He has brough back a thoroughbred yearling. Mrs John Hodge, Senr., of West Street, has returned from a holiday spent in the Waikato district. Prior to her departure for Blenheim, the staff of the W.F.C.A., Greytown, presented Miss Ivy Allan with a handsome bedspread. Mr G. Scrimgeour, who made the presentation, conveyed the best wishes of the staff to Miss Allan for her future success. FLOOD RELIEF FUND. The canvass for donations for the Hawke’s Bay flood relief fund is meeting with substantial support, and there have been very few refusals to contribute. CHURCH CAKE STALL. The Ladies’ Guild of St. Luke’s, Greytown, held a successful cake stall yesterday. In spite of the very cold day the takings amounted to over £5.
