MILITARY TRAINING

STARTING AT THE AGE OF EIGHT DECREE TO BE ENFORCED IN ITALY. UNDER THE DUCE’S COMMAND. (Reed This Day, 12.20 p.m.) ROME, May 18. On the Duce’s command, Signor Starace has been ordered to complete the application of the decree issued on December 31, 1934, providing for the military training of males aged from 8 to 55. Henceforth all youths, including those in sporting organisations, will be controlled by military organisations for drafting land, sea and air formations, with a view to the earliest possible military training.
