HAWKE’S BAY FLOOD
DONATIONS TO RELIEF FUND. The Wairarapa appeal to assist the sufferers in the recent flood in Hawke’s Bay is rapidly drawing to its culmination at the big ball to be held in Masterton next Tuesday. A good response is evident throughout ;the district and there is every prospect that the Wairarapa will worthily uphold its good name in assisting those in need. Additional donations to the fund are acknowledged as follow: —
Regent Tea Rooms Biscuits W.F.C.A Beaver Boarding H. V. Haise Pharmacy Ball Room Powder Many substantial purchases of tickets have been made and the bulk of the money in hand (additional to the above donations) has been received by this rpedium. The total sales of tickets will be acknowledged when the fund doses. Donations may be left with the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, or at the “TimesAge” Office, and will be acknowledged in the Press.
