PERSONAL ITEMS. (“Times-Age” Special.) Miss Joan Watchman, of Miramar, was the guest of Mrs R. J. Wright, during the weekend. Mr and Mrs R. Smith visited Rona Bay during the weekend. Messrs Arthur and William Adams are holidaying at The Mount, Tauranga. v Mrs Ivor Charles has returned to her home at Hinakura after spending a few days in Greytown with her sister, Mrs Bull. Miss Audrey lorns has returned to New Zealand after an extensive study of nursing abroad. She is at present staying in Wellington. Mrs A. Winchcombe has returned from a holiday in Wellington. Mr and Mrs Gerald Bailey, of Wellington, are visiting Martinborough. A surprise party was given to Mr and Mrs Alen Todd at their home, Dyerville, on Saturday night. A large number of friends was present. A party was held at Mrs E. Herrick’s home at Ruamahanga on Saturday night to celebrate her son, Ashton’s, 17th birthday. Dancing and games made a very pleasant evening, and supper was served. MINIATURE RIFLES. Following is the Martinborough Miniature Rifle Club's team to shoot against Featherston on the local range on Tuesday night commencing at 7.15 p.m.:—A team: Mrs Davidson, Mrs Dempsey, Miss I. Smith, E. Findlay, D. Flynn, C. McCardle, W. Bain, W. George, E. Feast, J. Brassel. B team: Mrs T. Boyd, S. Davidson, R. Amos, J. Cowperthwaite, I. Howat, K. Wright, L. Cameron.
