COLLISION WITH CAR
RACING CYCLIST’S DEATH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 8. Fatal injuries were received by a cyclist, Norman Ross Sweetman, aged 15, son of Mr C. Sweetman, Epsom, as a result of an accident which occurred on the Great North Road while he was competing in a road race on Saturday afternoon. He was riding past the Waikumete cemetery when his machine colided with a motor car. He received a broken wrist, chest and head injuries, and was taken to the Auckland Hospital, where he died shortly after admission.
