PLUNKET SOCIETY. (“Times-Age” Special.) Mrs Maddison presided at the annual meeting of the Greytown Plunket society. Mrs Vile was re-elected president, Mesdjimes Wiggins and Maddison vicepresidents, Miss Gregor acting-secre-tary and Mrs Everett treasurer. Three new members were elected to last year’s committee .while it was decided that the advisory board be the same as last year with the exception that Dr Oakley replace Dr Berney. PERSONAL. Mr J. W. Barnard, manager of the Bank of New Zealand, who has been on a lengthy tour of the South Island, has returned to Greytown. QUEEN CARNIVAL. The Carterton queen with 31,315 votes is leading in the Queen Carnival contest, Greytown being in third position with 15,682 votes. MINIATURE RIFLES The Greytown Miniature Rifle Club fired its second shoot last night, there being a fair attendance of members. The following are. the scores (handicaps included): — A GRADE G.
