SWIMMING CERTIFICATES (“Times-Age” Special) At the high school term social held last .evening, swimming certificates were presented to the successful competitors in the distance swimming held during the summer. Mr B. G. Wallis, chairman of the school committee, made the presentation. The secondary cup for 1937 was presented to Zena Jenkins. PERSONAL Mrs A. R. Morrison, of “Patuna” is visiting her mother, who is seriously ill in Christchurch. Miss Joan Hall is visiting her home in Hastings for the May vacation. Mr and Mrs Quentin Donald of Tawha, have returned from a visit to Sydney.
