MASTERTON SWIMMING BATHS. OPINION OF MR T. JORDADN. The opinion that the swimming baths were not in keeping with the size of the town, was expressed by the Mayor, Mr T. Jordan, at last night’s meeting of electors. The baths, he said, had served their day. The council now had authority to spend money on swimming baths without taking a poll. There was, however, a tendency to spend too much on such things, which were all right if they could be afforded.
