FEATHERSTON
QUERY CLUB. (“Times-Age” Special.) The first meeting of the Query Club was held on Thursday ‘ night. There was an attendance of 75. Visitors were present from all the country districts. The evening was spent in competitive games, and during supper .several suggestions were brought forward as to what the evenings during the year would be devoted to. It was resolved to initiate debates and discussions on everyday topics, books, plays, and to engage in ping pong and badminton. It was decided to hold the next meeting in the Town Hall, and for everyone to represent a book or a song. The evening was brought to a close by the singing of “Auld Lang Syne.” PERSONAL. Mrs Tullock and her daughter, Mrs D. Edwards, left yesterday by the Limited for Auckland, where they intend spending a holiday.
