EKETAHUNA
CAMERA CLUB. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the annual meeting of the Eketahuna Camera Club the following officers were , elected for the ensuing year:—Patron, Dr. E. M. Simmers; president, Mr A. H. Gray (re-elected); secretary and treasurer, Mr R. Mountjoy (re-elected); club captain, Mr C. J. Dillon (re-elected)-; committee, Mrs Albrechtsen, Mrs K. Marenzi, Mr H. W. Jefferies, with the president, secretary and captain ex-officio. The photographic competition (“Rivers and Bridges”) resulted as follows: Mr C. J. Dillon 1, Mr K. Marenzi 2, Mr H. E. Rogers 3. The next competition will close on May 19. A character study is to be the subject for the June competition. COUNTY COUNCIL ELECTION. Mr D. H. Butcher is announced as a candidate for the East Riding at the County Council election. PERSONAL. Mr J. Gordon, of Auckland, is the guest of Mr and Mrs T. Priest, Putara.
