■ 4 “SMILIN’ THROUGH." A deluge of letters from the public has persuaded Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer once more to present Norma Shearer’s immortal dramatic triumph, “Smilin’ Through,” hailed by critics and public alike as one of the greatest photoplays ever made. This film classic, which has such stellar personalities as Fredric March and Leslie Howard sharing honours with Miss Shearer, will be shown finally tonight at the Regent Theatre. COMING TOMORROW. “READY, WILLING AND ABLE.” An outstanding musical hit will come to the Regent Theatre tomorrow, entitled “Ready, Willing and Able,” in which catchy new songs will be heard and clever dancing witnessed. Ruby Keeler, Lee Dixon, Carol Hughes, Allen Jenkins, Louise Fazenda and Wini Shaw are in the cast. Box plans are at Perry’s, ’phone 2496, after 5 p.m., 2303.
