STATE THEATRE.
■4 • “LANCER SPY.” At the State Theatre tonight commencing at 8 o’clock there will again be shown “Lancer Spy” included in the cast of which is George Sanders, Peter Lorrie, Delores del Rio. The story is of a most thrilling nature in which the acting discovery of the year, George Sanders, has a part which gives him plenty of scope for his talents. Other noted artists in the picture are Peter Lorre, Delores del Rio, Virginia Field, Sig Rumann, Lionel Atwill, and Maurice Moscovich. This realistic drama must make an immediate appeal to lovers of good pictures. The supporting programme is an excellent one including the latest Fox Australian news, a comedy and overseas news.
