DRAMA LEAGUE
4 THREE ACT PLAY ON MAY 4. The box plan for the Drama League’s three act play “The Two Mrs Carrolls” by Martin Vale opens tomorrow morning at 9 a.m., at Mr V. Joseph’s, Queen Street. Booking is free and as the Opera House is sure to be crowded for a one night season, all who intend to go are advised to book at once. Prices are very low, as the Drama Leagues’ main object is not to make profits, but to keep its members and the public of Masterton generally well educated in modern drama. “The Two Mrs Carrolls” is a very powerful play with a gripping plot and well differentiated characters. In again appointing Mrs E. J. Rich producer, the Drama League has acted wisely, for her productions are always intelligently interpreted and well staged. As stage manager Mr V. Joseph is capable and reliable, and the production should run smoothly and without delays. School parties will be admitted for Is a head. The date of the production is Wednesday, May 4, at 8 p.m.
