« WOMEN’S DIVISION. ■ (“Times-Age” Special.) Last Thursday the annual meeting of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union was presided over by Mrs A. Jamieson, of Dyerville. The election of officers for the coming year resulted as follows: —President, Mrs A. Jamieson: vice-presi-dents, Mesdames D.. Cameron, John McLeod, H. J. Atkinson, Wright, P. Ward, and C. R. Holmes; advisory members, Mesdames Colman and Holmes; secretary, Miss Gowan Arcus; committee, Mesdames A. D. McLeod, W. B. Martin, Parsons, Arcus, Ronalds, S. Davidson, E. C. Davidson, E. Herrick. The membership of the branch no w numbers 105. FAREWELL GATHERING. Members of the Girls’ Club gathered at the home of Mrs Roy Lawrence last evening to farewell Miss Annie Baghurst, who has been a very keen member of the clul? and who is gcitig to Palmerston North to reside. During the evening the girls presented Miss Baghurst with a hat box and posy. GOLF CLUB OPENING. The official opening of the Golf Club will take place on Saturday afternoon.
