EUCHRE TOURNEY. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance at the Radio Club’s tourney last evening. The results were: Ladies, Mrs A. E. Wilson 1, Mrs M. Quin 2; men, Mr W. Farley 1, Mr F. Holland 2. PERSONAL. Miss Kitty Martin is the guest of Dr and Mrs Hugh Webb in Christchurch. Mr Lyonel Hodson, of Waipawa, is visiting Mr and Mrs Albert Smith.
Mrs R. J. Wright will leave today for a three weeks’ holiday in Christchurch. An event of local interest is the marriage in Palmerston North today of Miss Betty Collins to Mr Roy Calder, of Christchurch.
