Two British policemen sacrificed their lives in an attempt to save Arabs and Jews from death. Three unknown persons threw two bombs among a crowd at the terminal station of the Iraq pipe line and a sergeant and a constable dived at the bombs, which exploded as they picked them up, killing both men and wounding a number of bystanders.
