BUSINESS ON DOMINION EXCHANGES DETAILS OF YESTERDAY’S SALES The following sales were recorded on the Dominion Stock Exchanges yesterday:—

GOLD MINING RETURNS The Mataki Junction dredge return for the week ended April 7 was 650 z of smelted gold for 120 hours and 24,000 cubic yards dredged. The Goldfields Dredging Company advises a return of 21 oz. for 145 hours dredging. Clutha River Gold Dredging Ltd., reports that during the week ended April 8 the dredge worked 153 hours to recover 51oz. The Mataki dredge return for the week ended April 10 was 340 z. for 133 hours from 8200 yards dredged. ADD Gold Mining Returns Leader pag MARTHA DIVIDEND AUCKLAND, April 11. Cabled advice has been received by Mr J. H. G. Banks, attorney for the Martha Gold Mining Company (Waihi), Limited, that at the general meeting to be held in London on May 5, the directors will recommend a final dividend for the year ended December 31 of one shilling per share (free of income tax), payable on May 6. With the interim dividend of 1/- per share paid in November, the distribution for the year is 2s on each 5s share, equal to 40 per cent. The rate is unchanged.
