PRICES ON THE LONDON MARKET. NEW ZEALAND BUTTER LEVEL WITH DANISH. By arrangement with the Primary Products Marketing Department the following information is supplied by the New Zealand Dairy Board. (The prices reported are those ruling on Saturday last, with the prices of the preceding week shown in parentheses):— Butter: —New Zealand salted, 118s — 119- (1155—1165..; last year 100s—102s; unsalted. 1215—122 s (118s—119s); last year 102s—104s. Australian, salted, 118s —119 s (115s—--116s); unsalted, 120s—121s (118s—119s). Danish, 100’s f.0.b., 122 s spot (955-116 s 116s). Market firm. Retail prices unchanged:—New Zealand, Is 2d to Is 3d. Danish, Is 3d to Is 4d. Cheese: —New Zealand, white, 69s 6d up to 70s (69s 6d—7os); last year, 66s —675; coloured, 70s —70s 6d (69s 6d —7os); last year 665—675. Market steady. New Zealand retail price unchanged, 9d.
