RESISTANCE TO GERMANY BY CZECHOSLOVAKIA ROME PAPER’S PREDICTION OF FAILURE. PUBLICATION SUPPRESSED. (Recd This Day, 10 a.m.) ROME, April 10. The Government seized an issue of the “Popolo Di Roma” containing an article to the effect that resistance by Czechoslovakia against Germany was bound to fail. CZECH DEMOCRACY. CHANGES IN SYSTEM LIKELY. PRAGUE, April 10. The President of Czechoslovakia, Dr E. Benes, in a message to the country, declared that an adjustment of the political system within the framework of democracy might be necessary. He reminded Czechoslovaks that it was impossible to obtain all they wanted in this life and added that the country would emerge strengthened from her present internal and external difficulties.
