CHILD DIES FROM INJURIES. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 10. Colliding with a motor-car while crossing the main road at Karori about 3.35 this afternoon, Shirley Patricia Bedwell, aged between 7 and 10 years, received a severe lacerated wound in her throat from which she died shortly afterward. The accident happened opposite the Catholic Church. The Free Ambulance was called but the child died before she could be attended to and taken to hospital. Her home was at 3 Hathaway Avenue, Karori.
