RELIEF IN U.S.A.
HUGE LOAN PLAN PROPOSED BY PRESIDENT. ADVANCES WITHOUT INTEREST TO STATES AND CITIES. WASHINGTON, April 7. President Roosevelt has called relief advisers to the White House to discuss an immediate 1500 million dollars business revitalisation programme. The White House said Mr Roosevelt has before him a plan proposing an immediate programme of huge noninterest Federal loans to cities, States and local Government bodies.
