EKETAHUNA
TABLE TENNIS. (‘■Times-Age” Special.) At the annual meeting of the Bush Table Tennis Association, officers for the year were elected as follows: —President, Mr H. Brookes (Newman); vice-presidents, Messrs K. Marenzi, H. E. Greathead (Eketahuna), Petersen (Pahiatua); hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr Syder (Hinemoa); auditor, Mr Jones (Pahiatua). Messrs E. Wright and Syder were appointed delegates to the Wairarapa Association. The following inter-club committee was appointed:—Messrs E. Wright (Nireaha), Syder (Hinemoa), Mills (Nireaha), C. D. Goss (Nireaha), Seymour (Hinemoa) and Miss O’Regan (Eketahuna). PERSONAL. Mr A. Martin, manager of the Eketahuna branch of Yates Cash Stores, has taken up a position in Wellington. Mr D. H. Dopson, who has been Town Clerk in Eketahuna for six years, has accepted a position in the State Housing Department, Wellington.
