GREYTOWN FOOTBALL CLUB.

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Greytown Club was held in the Oddfellows’ Hall last night, there being a fair attedance. Mr W. Gates was in the chair. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted, the latter showing a club’s patron wrote in regard to the club’s jubilee. It was decided that the Management Committee be a committee to arrange same. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Patron, Mr F. F. Thompson; president, Mr W. Gates; vice-presidents, Messrs R. Vance,. R. Vile, A. M. Jury, F. Brooks, G. Fenwick, C. Stringfellow; secretary, Mr B. Brooks; treasurer, Mr F. Dennes; club captain, Mi' R. Pickard; delegates to Wairarapa Rugby Union, Messrs R. Pickard, M. Parker, J. F. Thompson; management committee, Messrs W. Tully, A. Gregor, H. McPhee, A. Johnson, R. Vance, M. Parker. The subscriptions were fixed the same as last year. The appointment of club coaches was left to the management committee. It was decided to invite the Eastbourne team to visit Greytown for a game on Easter Saturday, and to apply to the Rugby Union for permission to play the match and also to make a charge at the gate. The secretary was voted a bonus of £2 2s for his past services.
