N.Z. FARMERS' UNION-KIO KIO BRANCH.
The Executive Committee of the above branch met on Wednesday evening, when there were presant: —Messrs A. J. Ross (presiding), Budge, Walter Wylie and Hudson.
General business was dealt with. FARMERS' UNION LABORATORY. It was decided to ask members to contribute one shilling each to a fund for equipping and workino*. PUBLIC HALL. It wasdecidM tj tike active steps to promote entertainments in aid of a building fund. The secretary was instructed to report on a suitable site. TELEPHONE. The Post and Telegraph Department have cancelled and returned the bond of guarantee entered into last year, stating that the installation is now completely self-supporting. The Railway Department have promised to supply a loading bank at Kio Kio station.
