WAIKATO AGRICULTURAL ASSOCIATION.
A meeting of the general committee o’ Waikato Agricultural Association was held in the Council Chambers on Tuesday. The President, Mr J. Fisher, presiding, only seven members put iu appearance viz., Messrs J. Fisher, M. Butler, Clark, Anderson, R, Fisher. C. J. Storey, and S. Steel. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and also the minutes of an informal meeting held the 2nd of July, but the President said they could not be confirmed as there was not a legal quorum present, but they would have to go on, as everything had been published and there would be no tims to call another meeting, and nearly all the judges had been appointed. The accommodation for the judges during the show time, was arranged for. Tho secretary was authorised to thank Mr Campion for his special prize, and to inform him that the Association would be glad to see him here again. It was decided that no shootinggalleries be allowed on the show ground on account of the liability of the committee.
