STALLION PARADE.
The Stallion Parade, held under the auspices of the Waikato Farmers’ Club, took place at Cambridge yesterday morning, and was undoubtedly the best ever held in the district, both for quantity and quality. The draughts were a particularly good lot, and were greatly admired. Perhaps tho one that met the most approval was Bcnmore. He is a splendid mover, and that catches the eye; indeed all Mr Taylor’s lot are good. Never did we see a horse more improved than Lord Elderslie, aud not a few thought he was up to the standard of Benmoro Of the thoroughbreds Leolantis seemed the favourite, but on this class there are always many and varied opinions, so much depending on what the stock are required for. There were only two roadsters exhibited, and Messrs McMillan’s Pleasant Tom was more in racing trim than for the show ring. The following was the list of horses entered, and a better lot it would be difficult to gather in any part of the colony i thoroughbreds. Mr W. Taylor’s Lochinvar, by Envoy —Warrigal Mr F.
