The were adopted and general satisfaction was expressed with the result of the year’s working. It was stated that practically the whole of the output of cheese had been sold in the local markets by the agents, the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, and the quality had been such as to give entire satisfaction to consumers, and secure for it most favourable reports from the Government graders and most important of all, enable the agents to obtain top prices. The suppliers felt that a large measure of credit was due to Mr Jackways, the factory manager, whose efforts to turn out a first-class article had been untiring. It was unanimously resolved that the conditions as to the supply of milk to the factory for the ensuing season be the same as those in force hertofore, and after some farther detail business had been transacted the meeting terminated with the usual compliments to the chair.
