Mr Justice Denniston cave judgement in the cas-e heard some day.? ago, the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) v Charles Collier, involving au important principle relating to woolbrokers' charges. The claim of the company was for £129 for wool sold and money advanced, and defendant couuter-claimed for £l9O, as loss on a shipment of wool which was diverted from Sydney, to Loudon, and for primage and commission not credited. His Honor gave judgment for the plaintiffs for the amount claimed in the action, and judgment for them also in the counter-claim, with costs in each case as per scale, with disbursements, and witnesses' expenses.
