The Supreme Court was occupied this aftornooD hearing the charge against Thos. and Annie Looney, brother and sister, of shooting with intent at three boys named Fiaser at Waitahuna, near Fielding;, in December last. The appa rent motive of the shooting was that some of the Fraser's had given evidence against two members of the Loonoy family in connection with some Court proceedings. None of the lads were hit. The juty found the accused guilty, and they were remanded until Friday to enable the Probation Officer to make his report.
