MASONIC INSTALLATION LODGE TE AROHA, NO. 52.

TfItEHK was a large attendance of members and brethren at the meeting of Lodge Te Aroha, No. 52, on Thursday evening, the occasion being the installation of Bro. J as. W. Anderson as W.M. The Lodge was tyled at 7 30 p.m., and after the ordimi'y business had been transacted the W.M.a and members of Lodges Bcta-Wuikato No. 12 and Ohinemuri No. 102 were received as lodges, and in the third degree R. W. Bro. Bartlett, Or. Supt., and the Grand Lodge ollicers were received with the customary honours. Bro. Bartlett took over the working of the Lodge, and in an impressive manner installed Bio. Anderson into the chair of King Solomon. Wor. Bros. G. W. Sare, P.M., and Jas Bell, P.M , acted as presenting officers, and Wor. Bro. F. Pavitt, P.M., as Director of Geremonies. The working tools in the various degrees were delivered by Wor. Bros. G. Edgecumbe, P.M., third ; Wor. Hro. J.Forrest, P.M., tc:oud, and Wor. Bro. F. Pavitt, P.M.. first, and the addresses to the Master, W'ardens ami brethren wete given by the Installing Master. The W.M. invested his officers as follows :—I.P.M., Wor. Bio. J. Bell; D.M., Wor. Bro. F. Pavitt; S.W., Bro. T. Mclndcc ; J.W., Bro. H. Ross; S.D., Bro. A. J. Farmer; J.D . Bro. S. L. Bygrave; Secretary, Bro. W. Hill ; Trcasurer.Bro. A. Laybourn; Orgauist, Bro. J T. Maiugay; Stewards, Bros. J. Craig, J. Devcy, F. Woods; 1.G., Bro. J. Rowe ; Tyler, Bro. J. Stanley. A collection was taken up on behalf of the Widows' and Orphans' Fund, the result being £2 (is. Congratulations were conveyed from Grand Lodge and Lodges Beta Waikato, No. 12, Unanimity No. 3, Ponsonby No. 54, Ohinemuri No. 102, Waihi No. 110, and Lodge of Light No. 418, I.C. After the Lodge meeting the brethren adjourned to the Public Hall, where a tasteful supper had been prepared by Host O'Meaghcr, of the Family Hotel, and to which ample justice waa done. The usual patriotic and Masonic toasts were duly honoured, and the evening was filled up with numerous songs and recitations, reudered iu a very creditable manner.
