[UNITED PRESS AS3OCIATION.] (BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.—COPYRIGHT). Constantinople, November 26. The Sultan has telegraphed to the Czar entreating him to relinquish his support of the appointment of Prince George of Greece as Governor of Crete. The Powers have formally appointed Prince George for a period of three years. The ceremony will be performed at Athens. The appointment has been received with jubliation in Crete.
