(by TELEGRAPH. —OWN correspondent). Auckland, Last Night. Alburnias to-day showed a slight upward move in exchange sales, at which figure more shares could have bceu placed. Puru Consolidated shares were dealt in at 2* 4d, and Bunker's Hill at Is 3d. Thames stocks again had the best all round demand. Tararu Greek are not so firmly held For standard stocks, Shipping and Coal, there was a strong demand, and buyers for Union Steam advanced their offers to £9 8j 6d. New Zealand Shipping were inquired for at 86s ; Devonport Ferry, 35s 6d. Coal shares: Taupiri were wanted at 225, and Hikuiangi at 8a lOd.
