A private telegram received in town states that St. Paul hurt one of his hiud legs in the race for the Dunedin Cup, and is under marching orders for home. He leavtß the Otago capital to-morrow. St. Paul and Multiform have te.n scratched for all engagements at the Dunedin Meeting. At the tale of rac'ng stock to day, Antarcs was purchased tor 100 guineas by the Hon. Mossman, and Pique for 10 guineas by the same gentleman. Bcadon well was sold for 15 guineas to Mr Martin, and Black and Red for 100 guineas to Mr Goodman. The other sales were :—Remorse 11., 125 guineas, Mr Gardiner, Tapakio ; Ulster, £lO, Hoo. Mossman. Blazer was passed in at 250 guineas, and Belle Clair at 120 guineas.
