FRENCH LINER LOST.

Paris, March 22. The fine French steamship Villo de Rome, 1870 tons, owned by the Cie Geneiale Trans-Atlantique, of Marseilles, commanded by M. Fauran, has been wrecked at Minorca, in the Mediterranean. The Ville de Rome was an iron screw steamer, built at Glasgow in 1881 by A. and J. Inglie, her dimensions being*—Length, 311 feet; beam, 34.1 feet; depth of hold, 16.7 feet. All on board the steamer were Baved.
