(BY TELEGRAPH—OWN CORRESPONDENT), Auckland, Last Night. Standard Btocks cont : nue in demand, there being buyes to-day of National Bank, South British Insurance, and New Zealand Accident; Auckland Gas (old issue) and Thames and Gisborne Gas weie also sought after. 34s 6(1 was offered for Devonport Ferry, 48s 6d for New Zealand Drug, and 17s (id for Union Oil. Mining stocks showed little alteration iu value. However, Great Barriers were in some demand, there being buyers of Gold and Silver at 2s 3d, and Staffa at 2d. For Waitekauris 44s 6d was offered.
