A MONSTER PICNIC.
(by telegraph.—own correspondent). Auckland, Last Night. The picnic of the Wednesday Half-holi-day Association to the Thames was very successful. The weather was perfect and the sea smooth. Four boats were crowded to their utmost capacity, and it is estimated that betweeu three and four thousand people availed themselves of the opportunity of visiting the Thames.
